Putney Park has this year joined the “Global gateway” project. Organized by the British Council, partnerships are formed with French and Spanish schools. Our letter exchange programme has started for Years 8, 9 and 10.

We have been twinned in France with the Collège Armand Latour in Aspet, near Toulouse and with Jeronimo Zurita, Zaragoza, in north-eastern Spain. It is our hope to further extend these partnerships in the future.
Pupils involved have been motivated and excited to exchange letters with their new found foreign friends!
Open afternoon
Year 9 put their knowledge into practice during Open Afternoon in October 2008. The Language Department organised a series of role plays for the girls to take part in, which they did with great enthusiasm and success.
