Year 2 and 3 Christmas Concert.

Breaking News by Sophie Viney-Mitchel was specially written for the year two and three Christmas concert. The play examines the events surrounding the circumstances of Jesus’ birth through a series of news reports. Each report was interspersed with advertisements, offering such delights as New Dead Sea Salt Crystals and a gardening service with the strap line; Don’t kill yourself in the garden, let us do it for you! A series of magical carols from Europe and Canada were woven into the script and were sung with great care and enthusiasm. The children performed brilliantly, demonstrating their abilities in both acting and singing. Thank you to all the staff involved in putting together this successful and hugely enjoyable performance.
