Welcome

This has been an exciting and successful year in so many ways.

Our academic results have been outstanding, particularly the GCSE results.  Congratulations to our Year 11 girls.

We will miss our pupils who leave us to go on to an impressive array of destinations.  A special thank you to our Head Girl and two Deputy Head Girls.  They have made a formidable team and acted as superb role models for the younger pupils.

Our magazine is a record of all that has happened in the school year outside the classroom.  Pupils have been lucky to have such a variety of experience and opportunity during the year.

We have supported all of our usual charities this year with the addition of some new ones, as each year group in the Upper School held an event for a charity of their choice.

The Friends of Putney Park School have continued to support the school in so many ways.  I would like to thank Mrs Mulford, Head of FOPPS, for her unstinting efforts this year and her tremendous support for the school.  The Christmas Grotto was a triumph as Father Christmas had real reindeer with him this year.  Quiz Night and Fun Day were very successful, with Fun Day held in the Upper School for the first time in over 20 years.

The pupils were delighted to return after the Easter Break and find that there was a ship moored in the Lower School playground, following extensive refurbishment.

I would like to thank the staff for their continued hard work this term.  I am lucky to have such a professional and dedicated team who do their utmost to ensure that each pupil attains ‘personal success and academic achievement in a happy environment’.
