How do I find out more about the school and register my child?

Once you have visited our web site please use our "Contact Us" web page to request a prospectus. You are warmly invited to make an appointment to visit and tour the school. This can be done by contacting our Registrar either by using our site link or by telephoning 020 8788 8316.

During your visit you will meet with the Headmistress Mrs Mann and view the school in action. This will enable you to understand the workings of school life at Putney Park and experience what we believe to be the happy but purposeful atmosphere.

Registration is by way of completion of our registration form enclosed in the prospectus. A non refundable registration fee is payable. Early registration is recommended as an early registration will take priority when offers of a place are made.

Lower School : Reception Admissions

Following a satisfactory report from your child's current school/nursery a place will be offered.  Acceptance is by way of completion of our acceptance form and payment of a refundable deposit. The deposit is refunded at the end of your child's time with us provided all financial commitments to the school have been met.

During the summer Term preceding the September entry date, those families who have successfully gained and accepted places for children beginning in Reception will be visited at home by our Reception teachers. This allows your child to meet the teachers, and the teachers to observe your child, in a familiar environment. You and your child will also be invited to school for a Tea Party where you will be able to meet your child's class teacher and other members of staff, as well as the other new parents and children. Handbooks, which outline the curriculum and other useful parent information, are distributed.

Upper School : Year 7 Admissions

Entry into Year 7 is by way of sitting our entrance examination. This is held is January prior to entry in September.  The examination includes; English, Maths and Reasoning. We also request a report from your daughter's current school. Successful candidates will be offered a place, in order of registration. Acceptance is by way of completion of our acceptance form and payment of a refundable deposit. The deposit is refunded at the end of your child's time with us provided all financial commitments to the school have been met.

Occasional Places

The two main entries into the school are in Reception and Year 7. On occasions we will accept children during other times of the academic year, should there be a place available. Please contact our Registrar for further information.

Here parents will be introduced to their child's teacher and the curriculum for the following year will be outlined. Handbooks, which summarize and list other useful parent information, are distributed.
